Wednesday: Pink Shirt Day! We are asking all the students and staff to wear a pink shirt as a stand against bullying. For more information on Pink Shirt Day, please go to pinkshirtday.ca.

In the evening, Willow Park will be hosting a Family Paint Night! It will start at 6:30 pm and go until 7:30 pm. It's not too late to RSVP! Please call the school or email Miss B. in the office at kady.berezowsky@gshare.blackgold.ca.

Weekly Update Feb. 16-19, 2016

We hope our students enjoyed their Family Day! We're excited to see the number of hours our students spent unplugged for the City of Leduc's Unplugged Challenge. The class with the most hours wins a Pizza Party. Good luck, classes!

Tuesday: The last day for the Oilers Jelly Bean Contest! The grade 4s have been working really hard to sell tickets for this fundraiser for their Drumheller Field Trip. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket to support them. I think at this point, ticket or not, we're all curious to know how many jelly beans are in that jar!

Thursday: PAWS Hot Lunch from Wok Box. Also, from 4 pm to 7 pm we will be holding our Student-Led Conferences. Parents and students are welcome to come to the school to see how hard their child(ren) have been working this year.

The conferences would also be a great opportunity to check out the Lost & Found. It is very full! There's swimming bags, snowpants, toques, mittens, sweaters, lunches - you name it, it's there! The Lost & Found gets cleared out several times a year, so please have a look as soon as possible.

Friday: Today at lunch, there will be a very important AND entertaining basketball game: Staff vs. Students! Students are welcome to watch the game but are reminded that they will not have a lunch recess if they do.
